Living Journals

Our ancestors were real people with real lives and real choices that often mirror our own lives and choices. Do we not try to figure out how to put a meal on the table? Keep a roof over our heads? Help our children grow and become responsible citizens? Do we not share our hopes, dreams and beliefs with those we love most? One of my favorite things about reading the words of these wonderful ancestors who have gone on before us is reliving their joys, learnings, tears and love. I find comfort in learning from them and knowing that they made it through this crazy, amazing experience called life.  May you find that comfort (and often humor) too.
